How Your Belfour Kilt Is Made
Before any cloth is cut, we work from the sizing you provide: waist and kilt length are required, and hip or seat and fell measurements can be added for a more personal fit. The Belfour tartan is then pleated and stitched by hand to those numbers. Once finished, the leather straps provide approximately two inches of adjustment in either direction, which helps the kilt stay comfortable through long days and changes in sizing.

Hand wash your kilt in cold water with a mild detergent and hang it to dry naturally. Avoid wringing, tumble drying and harsh chemicals, as these can affect the pleats and the colours of the Belfour tartan. Between wears, hang the kilt by the waist or roll it loosely to keep the pleats sharp.

We ship worldwide; shipping is calculated at checkout, and orders over $300 qualify for free shipping.
