Made to order, not off a shelf
Nothing here is pre-made. You send us your chest, waist and back length, and the waistcoat is cut to those figures. That is the difference between one that sits flat under a jacket and one that pulls at the buttons.
Specification
- Cloth: Acrylic wool, woven in the Baillie Ancient sett
- Front: Single-breasted and buttoned, with a V neckline
- Back: Adjustable buckle strap
- Lining: Fully lined, so it holds its shape
- Worn with: A kilt, under an Argyll or Prince Charlie jacket — or on its own over a shirt
Looking after it
Hand wash in cold water and hang it to dry. Press on a low heat through a cloth, and keep it away from harsh chemicals so the colours stay true.
Delivery and how long it takes
Everything is made after you order, so there is a making time. Standard delivery is 20 to 25 days. If you need it sooner, choose Rush Order Delivery in the options above and we will have it with you in 5 to 10 days.
We ship worldwide with DHL and FedEx for a flat $30 per order, with free shipping on orders over $300. Eligible items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery.
