Before any cloth is cut, we work from the sizing you provide: waist and kilt length are required, and hip or seat and fell measurements can be added for a more personal fit. The Kerr Ancient tartan is then pleated and stitched by hand to those numbers. Once finished, the leather straps provide approximately two inches of adjustment in either direction, which helps the kilt stay comfortable through long days and changes in sizing.
